LOGAN — Art college students at Logan High College have been active making a massive mosaic of ceramic tiles, every made up of a thing different for just about every college student who painted it.
LHS art teacher Stephen Justice mentioned the task began final 12 months and has been ongoing even by way of the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Located in the school’s pupil center, which is around the artwork classroom, the mosaic is made up of dozens of ceramic tiles painted with numerous factors that Justice claimed was exceptional to the college student who painted it.
In the center of the mosaic is a set of slightly larger sized 6-inch tiles pieced jointly to make a style of the school’s mascot, the Wildcat. The middle piece was painted by art college student Meghan Newsome.
“What I did is I had just about every university student attract a four-inch by 4-inch drawing of some thing that meant to anything to them, anything that they preferred, or 1 of their most loved things,” Justice said. “Some of them are sports. They engage in sports and stuff, so they did stuff which is sports activities linked, like placing their amount on there. Some of them did a landscape scene. Some of them did cartoons.
