Hermitage Artist Retreat Announces New Members of Countrywide Curatorial Council

green and white leafed plantsThe Hermitage Artist Retreat a short while ago announced its 2021-2022 Curatorial Council, comprised of nationwide arts leaders spanning the fields of theater, visual artwork, tunes, literature, and arts instruction. The latest additions to the Council contain Oregon Shakespeare Pageant artistic director Nataki Garrett, Pulitzer Prize-profitable writer Mitchell Jackson, and celebrated WQXR radio host Terrance McKnight. The Curatorial Council selects artists across numerous disciplines for Hermitage Fellowships.

In addition to Garrett, Jackson and McKnight, the 2021-2022 season’s Curatorial Council features Eric Booth (arts training), intercontinental arts discovering consultant with Lincoln Middle, Carnegie Corridor, LA Philharmonic, Juilliard, and a lot more Christopher Burney (theater and movie), artistic director of New York Stage and Movie Daniel Byers (visible artwork), director of Carpenter Middle for the Visual Arts at Harvard University Claire Chase (songs), flutist, Avery Fisher Prize winner and MacArthur Fellow Jennifer Clement (literature), president, PEN Intercontinental Kimberly Drew (visual artwork), author, activist and curator of Black ordeals Mandy Greenfield (theater), creative director of Williamstown Theater Pageant Christopher Merrill (intercontinental literature), director of the resourceful crafting system at the University of Iowa Emily Nemens (literature), author and former editor of The Paris Critique Valerie Cassel Oliver (visual artwork), curator of modern and present-day artwork at the Virginia Museum of Wonderful Arts and Robert Spano (music), music director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
