George Clooney, it’s possible Ben Affleck, owing to movie scenes of ‘The Tender Bar’ in downtown Worcester

WORCESTER — George Clooney, best known as Dr. Doug Ross on TV’s “ER” and twice named Folks magazine’s Sexiest Guy Alive, is expected to be in Worcester this 7 days to movie scenes of “The Tender Bar.” Clooney is the director of the flick.

Clooney has a distant film tie to Worcester. He the moment played Lt. Frank Stokes – loosely dependent on George L. Stout, the male who directed the Worcester Artwork Museum from 1947-1954 – in 2014’s “The Monuments Gentlemen.”

Filming will be at the aged Commerce Substantial College setting up, which also served as the point out Division of Youngsters & Family members business in Worcester.
